Despite taking on the power of an EF2 tornado which brought significant damage to 150 buildings just over a year ago, Goshen Township is a community that is thriving. And as the town of 17,500 residents repairs and rebuilds, good news comes in the form of an announcement from the Home Builders Association of Greater Cincinnati: This Clermont County community has been selected as the site of HOMEARAMA® 2024.
The location of the show will be The Reserves at Stone Pillars Farm, part of a 39-acre upscale equestrian community. Luxury homes will be built on 37 lots ranging from one to 15 acres. Horse lovers will enjoy Stone Pillars Farm’s boarding stable and fields, bridle trails and riding center.
Activities galore
But whether you own a horse or not, you will enjoy the peaceful setting and three miles of walking trails in the community. Plus, the Cincinnati Nature Center is based near Goshen. Area parks feature fishing, ponds, playgrounds, basketball courts, picnic areas and walking trails. The Little Miami Scenic Bike Trail is just minutes away and just outside Goshen’s border, Stonelick State Park draws campers, hikers, fishers and boaters. And golf enthusiasts will be happy to know there are four golf courses within a five-minute drive.
Goshen Township’s location northeast of Cincinnati is close to Loveland and Milford and I-275 making the shops, restaurants and businesses in those areas just minutes away.
You won’t go hungry!
Goshen offers several local places to have a meal. Lori’s American Grille features burgers, wings and other appetizers. Island Green Bar & Grill at the Deer Track Golf Course has American pub food. You’ll find typical bar fare at Critter’s Tavern. The Gathering Place in nearby Newtonsville has traditional breakfast fare, burgers and sandwiches as well as comfort food dinners. And Grinders is a favorite local coffee shop for many of Goshen’s residents.
